The Shockwave 8007 is a bag and shock all in one instead of separate bag and shock. Mount points are on the lower arm mount bracket and on a cross member in the frame. Maybe that was why it was a little more expensive. It will end up looking like a triangulated coil over setup when finished.

I opted for the 'all in one' unit for simplicity sake. I don’t have the tank, valves and compressor yet so I will be using the single air line and adapting a sway bar to the rear end for now. I am looking at the 'air pod' for simplicity sake. 4 airlines, a small wiring harness and controls on the dash with ride height control. It looks good enough to mount in the bed under a cover of sorts.

I may leave the sway bar after getting the air pod or equivalent.

 

I have the Air Ride 9000 Air springs (1500lb each) on the rear.

I'll definitely have to do some more research when the time comes... simpler things going on right now... stripping old frame and getting the new frame in the garage to start mocking things up... so I guess the time has come to start researching suspension options... geesh!
