06 with pro comp lift and FE clunk

I have an 06 cc short bed with a 8 inch pro comp lift kit. I've read and searched a lot of threads but can't figure out my clunk noise. It comes from the drivers side front sometimes when I make a righthand turn quickly and always when the left front tire articulates upward when offroad. The bushings look good on the sway bar and the body mounts look fine. Everything seems tight. I don't know where else to look. Any suggestions???

Have you checked your ball joints?

You could also check you sway bar bushings, mine seemed tight until I unbolted one side, then you really notice the play. Also the way the shock mounts to the upper mount can sometimes cause The shock to make a popping noise. Since you have a lift make sure your trac bar is real tight, that can make alot of noise too.

Make sure your trac-bar bolt is tightened properly, I don't remember the required torque setting but it needs to be very tight. My Procomp 5" lift would make the same clunk and that was it!!!

I agree on checking that the trac bar and trac bar bracket are properly torqued down.....along with the rest of the suspension, but they are the most common to come loose.

Have to call around different shops and see if they have a big enough torque wrench. Dealership may have one (should).
