Towing R&R Sno-Fire trailer

I will be towing a 12' plus v-nose R&R Sno-Fire trailer this winter, trailer is 1300# sleds 600# each, three in the trailer one in the bed of the truck.

'05 SC 6.0 PSD stock, I was wondering if anyone has this combination and what MPG I should expect to see. My '01 F150 4.6l was at 9mpg.

I own a R&R enclosed 16' v-nose, 6'6" interior height. It should be very close to your rig. If you drive REALLY slow and careful you might see 13mpg. If you set the cruise at 72 you should get 11mpg. If you got 9 in the F150, then you drive slow and careful.

get an egt gauge if your going to be towing that thing through the mountains with the stock exhaust you will most likely be seeing some high egt's.

jjlrrw, you must be from MIchigan?(the fenton trailer sales thing) My 06 got 10-12 last winter pulling my 4place enclosed flat front snowmoie trialer with 4 sleds in it from Saginaw to houghton lake if that gives you an idea. Speeds were 65-75 most of the time. Even pulled it back from there in 4wd due to slushy/icey roads once and got the same mpg probably at a slower speed though I think!

Yea from the Grand Rapids area I need to update my profile, I just found that pic doing a google search and posted it as my trailer is similar. I was hoping for better but it is what it is, at least I can haul 4 sleds so the cost is /4. We go to the east side and ride out of Paradise or Seney most of the time.

Thanks
