I'm just trying to figure out if it's the coaches, or just a general lack of talent. I know losing Castille and Burkhead has hurt, and losing Javario Burkes off of the line was a disaster, that right side of the line is a nightmare!

Don't Worry Pat - Its not the coaches. Our Offensive line is not very good, our Quarterback is not very experienced in reading the defenses and he is pretty much one deminsional. Put that all together with the other lack of depth on our O and it is not real tough to put a defensive scheme together to hold the Huskers. It will get better - I promise! It has too because it can't get much worse! LOL
What I'm thinking is he needs to cut that playbook down to less that 50-60 plays. These guys aren't able to run a certain set of plays to get the timing down well enough that it's second nature, their too damn busy trying to get all 270 plays down.

You may be correct Pat - Its hard for me to tell what plays they are running because they generally get stopped before you can tell what play it is. Maybe stick with the dive plays, bootleg left or right and punt. Thats about 8 or 9 plays - Do you think they could figure that many out????? OK thats a bit sarcastic - I'm sorry!
I wish they'd run the play action pass a little more. Get Lee away from the defense, so he'll have more time to throw, since the line can't block. Good to see Helu running a little more like he used to.
