I'm going to be curious how patient people are going to be. This will take a MINIMUM of two years to fix.

Oh, and Terry? Enjoy this year, all your talent will be GONE next year!!

Yeh things take time. I expect that. People forget how long it took Tom Osborne. Remember all those Oklahoma losses. Took Tom 5 years to beat them. In those days if you lost to Oklahoma the season was ruined in most peoples minds. Boy people wanted Tom fired many times. Hard to believe isnt. You know if you look at Toms last years as coach. That probably wont happen again. That kind off domianation. All in all Im pretty happy with the way things stand right. Yeh I know this loss hurts but give it time. I like Bo hes the right guy for us. Thats the key.

It hurts this time it really does. No question about it. I just hope we can rebound after that loss. It really hurts your moral.

an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure... like i heard this weekend in an interview w/ bo, he didn't think the program was that bad at all under the leadership of Solich. if u ask me, we should have tarred and feathered Peterson and Callahan, and run them out on a rail b4 any of this happened.

personally, i was happy w/ a 9-4 season under Solich too, i didn't think we were 'gravitating toward mediocrity' at all. too many people back then were demanding national championship after national championship. just look at us now, panhandling outside of memorial stadium just for a winning season.

Bo is the man w/ the plan. but like my first sentence of this post implies, it's going to take time and patience.

hi all,
hey dallas the seahawks aren't bad. the huskers aren't bad either. its just going to take alittle while to get over this speed bump. i'm sure. hey it can't be any worse than back in the 80's. when the sooners beat them 27-0
on thanksgiving day game. i think the year was 83'. if i remember right.
anyway, kenny has a good point, and have alittle patience. they'll turn it back around.

BTW, I'd like to throw in a comment on this Chase Daniels thing. This guy, ever since he's been at Missouri, has been a troublemaker. If he was spit on (and I honestly am not buying this story the more I think about it) it was probably his MOUTH that started things.

Well boys...the rest of the season could be rough. I'm thinking we'll get maybe 2 or 3 more wins but that's it. Nothing great.....but Bo is basically starting over building something out of nothing.

-Jake

EDIT - Since I'm bored and have no life I went over to www.huskerpedia.com and started reading articles. I found Bo quoted as saying this “I was No. 1 on the hated list in Louisiana for awhile, but I turned it around,” Pelini said. “I believe in where we’re headed.”

Nope, I mainly raced this year at Doniphan and Lex this year. I never made it to i-80 and I had to sell my new car to pay off some bills that I HAD to take care of. I wish that I would of tried some other tracks, I went to Red Cloud, Lex, Doniphan, and McCool Junction but would of liked to go to others.

Well, it's time again to suffer through some more hideous predictions. Let's see, Texas Tech has the #2 offense in the country....Missouri had the #3 offense....They scored 52 at Memorial stadium....NU goes to Lubbock for this game......I don't know if I even want to try and venture how bad this could be....but here goes..........

Texas Tech 55
Nebraska 21
