Bart,
It keeps me young at heart. That need for speed never leaves no matter how old you get. This only runs 0-60 in 3.7 sec., 60-100 in 4.4 sec. with a top speed of somewhere around 140 MPH. I have only taken it to 125 MPH.
This was a brand new 2006 Suzuki SV650S. As seen a V-twin. It had 10 miles on it. It was sitting on a dealers floor in Reno. They made me a fair deal, not great but OK. The only problem with it is it wants to run a 100 MPH. If I don't watch it I'm headed for a BIG TICKET. I'm buying a throttle lock so I can set a speed & hold it fairly close. My 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250 is "FOR SALE". I'm waiting the title then I will put it on craigslist or Ebay.

Craig, keep the rubber side down, and the plastic off the pavement!
Bart, I would say that Craig is to old for a mid life crisis. J/K haha!

I am going to test for my Class M today, wish me luck

9 years since I've owned a motorcycle. I'd love to get an SV. Great choice!

Years ago I almost got FUBAR'd on my bike getting rear-ended With my super spidey sense I bailed into the ditch and avoided it. Sold the bike pronto!

I'm wishing you best wishes. I took my written test first then rode for a week or so getting use to my Ninja. I practiced in the parking lot at Mingus High School. The cones are easy. The stop can be tricky, I blew the U-turn got nervous & touched a foot before I stopped. That was the only mistake. I did my test in Cottonwood. I had a cool tester. If you can go watch someone test before you do the driving test I found it easier to practice. The practice only gets you familar with your bike & how it reacts.
