Its time for new tires again...
I gotta look, but don't think I have quite 60k miles on this set. I dunno if it was heavier loads, more unloaded twisty/mountain driving or the combination of the above plus more HP! The last 20k miles or so have seen a lot of crossing the mountain - often driving right at the edge of traction pushing the beast thru the curves. Drifting a 9k lb truck is just not natural...
This is what they look like now:
I sure wish I could figure out how to get some 19.5 x 7.5 Ricksons and run 265/70/19.5's - but at this point I'll have to win the lottery first. Meanwhile, the M55's are a few $$ cheaper right now than last time. Still an AWESOME tire and I highly recommend them!
Since I'm BROKE, I prolly won't be buying new rubber soon - but thought I'd share with y'all anyway!

I was reading this thread a few days ago after searching for a set of bullet proof tow tires with some grip.
After countless hours of research (and a few phone calls to BFG) I ordered a set of Michelin XPS Tractions for the rear of my truck.
I was impressed with the M55's also, but being that I have a warranty issue, I have to go with BFG's or foot the whole bill myself.
The XPS's have great reviews as do the M55's. I was also impressed with the Nitto Grappler as a tuff towing tire. I do believe Nitto is made my Toyo.
