im finally out of debt!!! i was in a bit of money trouble, i owed about $500 to $600 to various people and places. i found that just keeping track of where my money went helped alot. it will be about a month or so before i can really say im safe, but i feel pretty good about everything.

 

Thats great news! I'm not debt free but I'm on the way.I paid off my house a few months back. I need to pay off my truck & I'll be debt free.

 

I had a big setback this yr. I was laid off for 5 months. By having my home paid for I got through the layoff ok. I had to use my emergency fund a little. I'm really liking the company van again instead of using my truck for work. I bought it for play.

 

well congrats to all of yall that are getting out of debt. thats one thing that when i get out of high school i hope to keep to a minimum. i just dont feel like having to struggle. and it helps alot when you were one of the first ones to take the personal finance class last year that has become mandatory for this years 8th graders to take to graduate. i was on the news because of that

i got an idea for an easy career you know those guys that change the signs like gas prices and words at mcdonalds and stuff. become one of them at a gas station gas prices always fluctuate you could do that on the side. the only bad thing is many gas stations are goin to digital signs
