Is the '09 available in ANY other configuration aside from flow-through console? I have not seen any photos otherwise. I will never own a truck with a flow through... I value my bench and captain seats waaaaay too much. So, anyone know?

Yes, read the order guide! Just like the 04-08's, all of the trucks come standard with the bench seats/column shift, even the FX4 and Lariat. The flow-through console with floor shift was ALWAYS an OPTION! http://www.sunrisefordfleet.com/pdf_...er%20Guide.pdf

offtopic... wow... not only are the 4.10s and the heavy duty package gone, the 3.73s aren't even an option on the 5.4 anymore, and the 3.15s are standard/3.55s are optional now...
on the bright side, 6th gear should last a long time in these trucks, seeing they'll never get above the 150mph mark needed to shift into 6th with those gears...

I think you should re-read the guide again. The heavy duty package is still there, option code 627, but it only comes with 3.73 gears, non-limited slip. And you can get 3.73's Limited-slip as an option with the 5.4 engine for the supercab and screw models, see page 7 of the guide (Adobe page 12 of 26).

hrm, you're right, apparently you can't get it on the regular cabs unless it's the HD package. My first 04 was a reg cab XLT 4x2 5.4 with 3.73s... I can't see why that option's not available anymore... not like it would cost them any extra...

It would....every gear set, tranny and engine combo has to be certified.....Just be glad at this point that fords still in business....as chrysler doesn't appear to have much time left if their credit problems don't clear up...

You posted that before... where did you get this info? On FuelEconomy.gov site there's only the engine/tranny combos. No rear end gears specified ever.
