MIDATLANTIC REGIONAL MEET ALL TRUCK NATIONALS CARLISLE, PA AUGUST 8--10, 2008 INFO HERE!
The chapter leaders of the Mid-Atlantic Region has agreed to hold an FTE G-2-G at next years All Truck Nationals in Carlisle, PA The date is August 8--10, 2008.

This will involve members paying a registration fee which in turn will qualify us to have a tent and parking provided by the Carlisle show.
There are plenty of hotels and campgrounds available for overnight stays. It is possible to make it a one day trip from where you live for the Saturday of the show. If we have enough members willing to stay overnight, then we would be willing to reserve a block of rooms now to guarantee them for the event.
We need to get 25 registered members to get the free tent and parking for FTE.
What we need from you all now is a show of support for this meet to see how many we will have from FTE that plan to attend.
ALL FTE MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND!

I am thinking about going, its is a 7 hour drive from Dayton, I would be interested in sharing a ride and splitting the costs , i can take the Lincoln which gets about 27 -28 miles to the gallon, and doing the camping out thing in a tent. all of which will keep costs down to a minimum..
Anyone interested ? We can also just take my truck but it get only about 11 -13 mpg...
I will be leaving to go sometime mid morning, it looks like it is going to be a pretty big event, I think 7 other states from FTE will be represented there as well.
I will be taking the connie for this trip, Sat radio and Gps are set up and ready.
