I'd kill to be able to Neil. so much going on(hip, leg, back). i haven't even been able to do the 45 min ride to the lake to see mom in 2 months.

Carl I am in the same boat as you. I would love to attend but I have a wedding to go to on the 9th and it is on the wife's side of the family so I need to keep her happy. Or else my life will be a living hell.

 

Hey everyone!

I'd love to go, but money-wise, just can't. I have a big work project that weekend too, that I just learned about. Was looking at hotel rooms yesterday, actually some still available around the area, but, regretfully, I can't make it anyway due to work.

Afternoon Art..... it really does suck when work gets in the way of having fun and not having the available funds

I was even looking at the possibility of flying down to Harrisburg and having George pick me up and be my taxi service so I could be there for a day. But cost wise I can not justify it.
Also wifey would have had the out for me seeing that some of her family will be in town for a wedding on the Saturday.

If I had a choice, I would prefer to keep the frying pans from making contact with the side of my head.

Lucky you. Mother Nature decieded it was time for her to celebrate the 4th of July several weeks later. There was a lot of lightning and thunder.... it scared the you know what out of Buddy and woke him right up along with the wifey. Nothing like having a 55 lb. dog jump on you in the middle of the night.
