Looking to replace my OEM stock shocks on my 08' F-150 4x2 Super Crew w/5.4L , I dont go "Offroading" only dirt roads when taking my atv's out or when going camping. Looking for improve ride over stock ones. It's my daily driver on streets/highways also. Heard Bilsteins are good, also heard dont get 4x4 shocks like Rancho's to stiff for 4x2 trucks. My truck is a 4x2 so keep that in mind. thanks

 

get the bilstein ones that have the adjustable lower perch. they bolt right in like OEM and you can adjust the truck from stock height to a max of 2.5" taller up front

the 4x4 shocks are stiffer...no getting around that. but they also help control the body lean that 4x2's have. My truck corners almost as well as my 03 Mustang GT that was dropped. the 4x4 shocks virtually eliminate body roll
