302 to 351 swap

hello.i have a 95 f150 with a 302 3spd auto i also have a 95 f350 with a 351 auto.i dont know what year the 302 and 3spd are.how can you tell what year and will the 351 go in the f150 and hook up to the 3spd.thanks.larry

the 302 and the 351 are virtually the same block and so they should bolt up nicely. The only problem i think you'll have is that you'll need to find and ECM for a 351 and 3 sp auto trans. combo.

A '95 f150 with a 3-speed auto? If that's accuate it's not original. Since you need a computer to match the 5.8 motor anyway, just take the engine and trans from the F350 complete with wiring harness and all.
