Truck acts like its running out of gas.

I have a 2000 3.0 in a Ranger. It idles weird sometimes but when i get up and drive normaly its ok. When I jump on the throttle it acts like its running out of gas. I replaced the fuel filter. Any ideas?

I've fixed the problem.......Accidently...... I turned into a constructionzone on accident yesterday and knocked a spark plug wire loose, when I reattached it the problem stopped. I guess I had a spark plus wire that was loosening gradualy?

i think you answered your own question...did the check engine light come on too?

Nope never threw a warning.
