PO307 0 Cylinder 7 misfire

my SES light came on the other day. Had 2 codes PO156 & PO307
PO156 is an O2 sensor BAnk2 / sensor 2...after the cat
I bought a new sensor- still have an SES light.
now I only have the PO307 which is cylinder 7 misfire...
Any ideas...
just replaced the plugs 5000 miles ago...

What year truck, model, engine, transmission? What plugs were installed 5K ago? Bottom line is check the plug, cop, and boot. Good luck!

I believe that you were already referred to pay attention to the P0307 code and to check out the plug, cop, and boot. Time to get after it. Good luck!

It's either going to be an injector, plug/coil, or compression issue. Check the plug for damage. You can also change the #7 coil with another easy to reach coil. Say swap #7 with #1. Clear the codes and drive it around till the light comes on. Get the code scanned and if the code is now p0301(misfire #1), it's a COP. I know they say check the boots, but I work for a dealer. Just replace the whole coil. We've had to many that we've just replaced the boot(like ford says) and they came back misfiring shortly after. If the misfire stays, it's problably an injector(could still be compression issue though). Whatever you do, go Motorcraft parts(not aftermarket).....

Just that is the second thread that you have started with the same subject and are getting the same responds from other members. Good luck finding your problem and getting it fixed.
