Only draw back is the 2010 emissions are hard to get off, unlike your 2007 emissions. Oops, I was just checking in on my classified ads, sorry - No Cummins guys allowed, LOL.
Met a guy at Hershey Park that had a new 6.7 Cummings DRW Crew cab. He is towing a 5ver 3,000# less than mine. He is averaging 9mpg towing and 14-15 mty. He was disappointed in fuel milage but loves his truck. I did average 8.64 hand calculated towing on my last 2156 mile trip Computer was closer this time showing 8.8. Had no problem towing 17k at any speed I wanted on the hills.

How's that? Technically we're not in a recession (shrinking of the economy), we're in an inflationary period. Too very different things.

It should be delivered tomorrow (7/30). We have been down south in the RV, kayaking with the gators all weekend in the Okefenokee. Kind of nice to drop off the grid for a while. It probably kept me from going stir crazy, thinking about the truck all weekend.

It has been delivered. Wife is in love, as am I. The truck left Monday, and arrived Wednesday at 7pm. Not too bad.

Of course the wife suggested a quick run to the grocery store, I was happy to.

Not to start a gripe thread, but I am HAPPY with the initial fuel mileage per the lie-o-meter. Driving conservatively, we got 18mpg at 65 mph. I cannot complain since my 11 year old Expedition gets 15 at that same speed.

Vincent

i know with the cummins engine- it can take up to 20,000 miles to break in it (depending on how hard the engine is worked) so, as the mileage racks up on the truck, mileage should improve. it did with my truck. i average 19mpg with my 5.9. truck now has almost 100,000 miles on it- truck has been flawless!

Man-O-Man you are BIG pimpin now. (That means "Nice Truck")
A black King Ranch......dang it boy.
Heck I didn't know you "northerners" knew what a king ranch was.

About Tommy Vaugn, (I live in Houston) they have been known to have/give some pretty good deals. They are an Up & Up dealer (I have never heard anything bad about them). My father-n-law bought a (new)2000 F250 from them back in the day a decent fuel prices, sticker on the truck was near 37 or 38k and he took it home for under 30.

Congrats on the new FINE ride.
What / When are the upgrades?
I assume you will get PMS.

I'm quite certain that Vincent is glad they weren't the other way around.
Nice looking truck man. Makes me wish I'd waited.

Yea, I thought he was a bit overweight too, but when I asked, he avoided the subject.......oh well, the weight stations should have caught him.

As for Mods, my mind is running amuck. I drop the truck off for Line-x tomorrow and I think I will order a Leer tonneau (spelling?). I am gathering info to add navigation (either factory or aftermarket). I am looking at getting another Scan Gauge, I like the fuel usage and trip information they provide. Other than that, I think I will avoid any major mods to the engine, powertrain, chassis, etc due to warranty issues, at least for the time. I bought the truck mainly to tow my boat, and replace my aged Expedition. If we move from the class C motorhome to a 5th Wheel, I will probably install an Aux fuel tank as well.
