There are Crew Cab Rangers in England and Germany. They position them as weekend truck for driving fishing, not as a dayly driver as we all used to drive ranger to work. Ranger is an expencive truck in EU (check ford.co.uk). American car in Europe is rare and people who really love them drive them in Europe.

The reason there is no crewcab ranger is because ford doesn't want to hurt sport trac sales. They say the sport trac is the same as a crew cab ranger. We all know the sport trac is nothing more than a soccer mom's p/u, suv combined, it has independant suspenssion front and rear, sorta car like. We need a real truck with a crew cab and ford is going to be giving us a crew cab ranger. I hear it will be soon, even before the new world ranger is released 2012. Great things are happening at ford. Alan has done a great job at ford and is worth every penny he is paid. The wall street jornial says Alan has ford in the best shape of the 3 american car companies. Alan's ssecret to sucess is product, give the people the products they want and you sell cars. The new retro mustang and fusion is selling like hot cakes as is the new redesign focus. Ford is leading the way in crossover suv's. We will have 4 series of p/u's to choose from, the super duty, F-150, F-100 and the ranger. Were getting a real off road bronco and performance versions of the fusion and focus with a lot more surprises still to come. It's an exciting time to be a ford lover.

people say that really F100 chassis is a bit modified chassis of small version of RWD ford tramsit. Ford want to make F100, Bronco and Transit(may be aero van) for USA.... one more global product.
They want do all like DimlerCrysler, making vans and trucks on Sprinter chassis (also used for Volkswagen LT28-35-40).

Wendell old friend I hope your right about that super crew. Sorry it's been so long, the man has been bouncing me around all over the planet the past 6 months, hope you have been doing well. The bright side is I see the super crew ranger on a daily basis and I would love to get one and start swapping parts over - I have plans if I can ever get my hands on one in the states.

Yeah, I read in truck trend last year that we were to get a crewcab ranger for 08. Well that didn't happen as the ranger was to be dropped after 09. Now ford is going to keep the ranger around untill the world ranger in 2012. Now that the ranger is saved because of climbing sales and high gas prices. What better way to sell more rangers than with a crewcab. Not having a crewcab is why ranger sells dropped off any way. They don't have to do any R&D as they allready make crewcab rangers, they just need to impelment it. The world ranger gets a crewcab for sure, but I think it would help ford to give the ranger a crewcab now, they would double sales. It sure is good to hear from you buddy.

It wouldn't take any R&D on ford's part as they allready build crewcab rangers around the world except here in the USA. Sales would for sure go up. I stopped counting years ago how many people just on this forum wanted a crewcab ranger. Just in a post up above, we have a gentleman who just bought a sport trac because there is no crewcab rangers. I would hate to guess at how many sales ford has lost to other companies because there's no crewcab. The ranger gets the best mpg of all small trucks, add a crewcab and you would have folks with families buying a ranger instead of a car or suv.
