X2... it's really a shame.
I personally like the HP that the new trucks are coming with, so if you ask me, they should build the MPG and longevity around that. It can be done, we all know that.

Too bad they can't just say, "Screw you Mr. EPA. We're making fuel efficient, extraordinarily powerful trucks. F you!"

If they did do that they would go bankrupt from all the fines...

I saw the spy photos of the 4.4L going in the F150 and it had the Powerstroke badge on top of the fan shroud. Still dont mean they are gonna use it, but heck who knows. I kinda hope they keep it myself

I do miss the 86 Ford diesels. That was the first vehicle I learned off of and the first one that I legally drove(and illegally when I was learning to drive on the back roads of Kleberg county) thru high school. Jar you to death, but it got wonderful mileage and it would haul anything that you wanted it to, but you just wouldn't get that very fast.

duramaximizer is new and has a neutral reputation at this point.
I wonder just how much Ford and Gm are working together behind the scenes?

I haven't heard much about the 2010 duramax lately....I think the new aluminum head designs are going to be awesome.

Ford owns the powerstroke name, not international.

Correct - Ford owns a trademark registration for "Power Stroke" (two words) in International Class 012 describing engines for land vehicles.

Yes, the heads are flipped around with exhaust manifolds on the inside and turbos in the engine valley. Pretty cool idea.
