My Build

Its a 78 Bronco that I bought for $700, it was really rusty and the 351M was rapping hard. well I have come a long way since then and it now has a 351W in it, I put a 76 front clip on it and I painted it to look like bare metal, I call it " BEAR METAL " so yes the paint is supposed to look like that
this is before I finished painting it

I put on some old 44's just to see what it looked like, I will be putting the 33's back on

I still have a lot to do but just thought I would share

Thanks Buddy I thought you would like it.
I just went and saw the guy that I bought my parts truck from to see if he still has those brand new 44" super swamper on bronco rims, He does, $800 out the door, its time to start selling off spare parts

Well thats the problem, I dont have the money
and nobody wants to buy anything with gas being so high.
as far as the paint, later down the line I might change up the paint scheme?
but for now I found a site that will make me a sticker thats say's
" Bear Metal " and has the gouges under it, its 13" H x 10" W, for $32 and it ships in two days
it should look something like this and I'll put it on the tailgate
.

Man, it's going to be hard to go from seeing those 44s down to 33s again. But, you'll have to build a shop to hold that thing. It really is turning into a very cool build. I like the decal.

Thanks Buck-O, its not a top notch build but I'm trying to make it a cool one,
I already dont want to put the 33's back on it! but I have to be realistic.
unless some people step forward and answer my ad on C/L I wont be getting those new tires any time soon,
I hate to sell off my spare parts but I have to if I want those tires. I dont know! I'll figure something out, I always do.
I'm not about to give up yet, I think if I cant get those I can still regroove the ones I got and make them work,
I just need to get some heavy duty tubes for them, maybe tractor tubes
how is your build coming? have you had any time to give to it lately

I'm lookin for a set of 37" Boggers for Red and even used ones are runnin 1200...if you find a set of 37x13x16.5 Boggers (New or Used) for a steal I better be the first to know. But seriously...I really love that paint. You gonna throw any faux rivets with an airbrush on there?

I just found two brand new, never been mounted 44 x 18.5 x 15 Gumbo Monster Mudders for $300, I might have to go with that instead, thats all I need is two to replace my two bad ones and it will be easier to come up with that much

Kind of in a another holding pattern right now. Has been for about 2 months. My brother is helping me build the motor and we recently just completed it, except for some little things, but I haven't been able to get it yet. Unfortunately, the motor has been at his mechanic shop in Nebraska. He is supposed to get it dynoed for me and bring it up so we can get it sat in. Then I can get the front clip on and start working on it again. The bed is being worked on as we speak. Thanks for asking.

anyone know where to get smoked headlight covers that will fit my front end? I like the darkened look it has without the lights in it

As much as I like to work on my truck and personalize it to ME! I have to throw a flag on that play!
I would much rather be spending my summer DRIVING IT! then working on it and not be out enjoying it,
I am going threw withdrawals not having my old Ford to wheel around in right now,
I am going to have to drive it in the winter time to get my fix!!! and I Hate Snow!
I can't wait to move to the southwest, it might snow a little but that's OK by me..
