Hey Guys,
I've got I buddy looking at a 97 F250 HD 7.3 5sp 4x4 ext cab short bed. It has 138k on it. Carfax shows that it was hit in the pass side in '03. They are asking 8,995. but said he would take 8,120. I pulled the oil fill cap to check blow by. The motor and everything around it was dry. All in all the truck looks and runs good. But 8,120. seems a little high to me. I was thinking 75 or less. What do you guys think, anything else I could check for him?

I saw a CC LB in Erwin at Ford. Beautiful truck. They want too much but nowadays I am sure they will deal.

check the turbo for play in the wheel. How old is the clutch. DMF ? Maintenance records?. I would be willing to help you out later this week if needed.

The truck you described is my truck to a "T" I wouldn't take that for mine but then again I REALLY like my truck

My buddy is 19 and very excited over this truck. I'm a little weary of this truck. I've had 2 OBS trucks, and this truck runs as good as any that I drove. There is a lot of slack in the shifter and the fact that it's been wrecked. I've got the VIN, tomorrow I'm gonna get an OASIS. I may take you up on that checking it out, if work allows. I doubt we will be able to go to the rally this weekend. The whole fam is heading down there next weekend. (16 of us in one cabin) ough.
