I'm envious, wish I could have done that to my cab before reinstalling it!

Hi Tracy,

how much did it cost and did they also shoot some primer on after it was blasted or did you do it?

Thanks,

Rick

Looking good!! I hope to get my 49 back from welder soon. I hope to blast it myself, long time since I've done any blasting. You are well on your way on this project. How much is media blasting cost?

last year i bought a 72 f100. i took out the 302,fmx trans and 9 inch rear end. the man that sand blasted my frame told me he would do all 4 of my fender's for the left over 72 body. it was not all that bad but, needed floor pan's in it. i said i would but was not ready for that yet. i called him up a few month's ago and ask about doing my cab instead. he said he would. about a week ago, after haveing it for 2 week's, he called and said it was ready, and if i had some primer he would have his man spray it for me. he brought it to me today and may buy my old cab and spare frame for the front half of the frame. the rear is rusted too bad. i think he get's 250 for doing a cab.

Boy does that bring back memories! Looks good! You will be happy you did this step. It takes longer but it better. What it cost for the blasting?

the old 72 f100 body with bad floor pan's. i paid 120.00 for the self etching primer and thinner,he had his worker spray it. it just cost me the old body. i only paid 350.00 for the f100 when it was running before i gutted it out.
