To check the ICP, just unplug it. The computer will go to a default setting for ICP input, if none is detected from the sensor and still run the truck. It (PCM) will just not be able to vary the oil pressure to the injectors as engine conditions change (meaning not as much power under load). If the truck runs fine with the ICP unplugged, then you need to replace the ICP.

Get it scanned it will save you a lot of guessing

Here's the ICP location:
Drivers side front of the engine.

umm, did anybody overlook the fact that he is runing wildman tunes on stage 1's. do you have a stock high pressure oil pump? when does the truck "malfunction"? if its under heavy load then i would almost bet you are taxing your hpop.

A 1211 set due to the HPOP not keeping up won't cause a driveability issue though. Once the 1211 sets you power/acceleration will level off but it won't cause an issue with the running of the engine.

I do have a 17* hpop and the cel is always on. I can scan it with the edge evolution and it reads p1280 i think or som ething liek that it is the code that says injector control pressure circuit it not desirable, low. It is also making it shift hard and my tq lock up very hard?

Unplug the ICP sensor and give it a go. When was the last time the oil was changed? How old are the injectors and who built them?

Oil should be good but let keep it in the front of our minds. The ICP sensor is just unplugged for testing. It will set the CEL when unplugged but if it runs better then the sensor is bad.
Here is the ICP location. Right side second label from the bottom

Ok I responded to you email and while I have not seen a CPS show all those symptoms it is possible you have more than one thing going on. try the CPS and see what happens. It may not fix all the issues but it may fix the stall

ah, at least we have the actual code now. i have seen 1211's cause bad loss of power and if you stay on throttle i have seen them start to "misfire" i would think that the stage 1's and extra command from the wildman tunes would exponent this. the fact that its a 1280 though makes me lean away from my first thoughts though. i am with tj, if it ran better unplugged then 99% chance you need a sensor. check the 3 pin connector for corroded and bent pins as well. the cps is most likely the stalling concern. fix those then tacle the hard shifts. that may just be the chip's tranny function but becuase the loss of power and added throttle position it may just be coincidental.
