that is the sole reason it took me this long to get them installed, while i dont haul 8 foot sections of anything very often the times that i do i will have issues now. i was going to use the 5 foot pipes and run everything under the truck but gave up on the idea. if i had a standard height truck it would have looked ok but with the lift all the pipe is exposed to view and i didnt like that.

Yikes!! that would not be good!
I think I might be mixed up the turn out styles. What I thought were Kenworth style I was now told they are Peterbuilt style. I need a picture!! Either way I want the turn outs that look like these
eBay Motors: Chrome Exhaust stack 6X36" turnout stack for pick ups (item 180188337560 end time Jul-29-08 21:15:00 PDT)

I would love to get some stacks some day but I have a plastic drop in liner and was worried the heat from all the exhaust pipes in the back of the truck might melt the liner.
It looks like you have it very close to the liner you have. Have you had any problems from the pipes being so close to the liner? That is a drop in right?

I had a plastics bed liner and I have stacks too. I drilled right through both the liner and bed, and never had any issues with the stacks gettin too hot for the liner.

tj, we have lots of pete's at work and they dont have those turnouts, i was always under the impression they were kenworth styled but we have 3 kenworths with the same style as the pete's?????? oddly enough we have 4 new western stars and they have the "kenworth" pipes on them....lol
fish, i run stock rims with 315/75/16 bfg all terrains, however i am going to be getting new tires soon and not goin with the bfg's again, since they changed rubber compound they wear out WAY too quick. plus i want the more aggressive mud tire. probably getting the dunlop mud rovers.
