Can I use the diesel fuel the sell in Mexico?

I would like to go to Mexico this Winter, but I was told that there deisel would not be good for the new engine.

Its not the greatest diesel you can use. How long will you be there? I don't think a few tanks would hurt, but it will go into regen a lot more.

It is probably LSD, and not the ULSD that these call for. I do not know the exact stance from Ford on this (dont own this oil burner), but I have to believe its not the best to run it for any extended period.

The diesel in Mexico is regular LSD at best.

I would not run more than a tank of Low Sulfur Diesel in my truck with the DPF still installed.

I was told by a service manager at a ford dealer that ONE tank is all that can be tolerated by the 6.4, when they first came out they had some problems with companies that still had LSD in there storage tanks and used it in the 6.4. Not sure on how true it is but he said it will create some problems from what hes seen
