M880
I recently acquired a 1977 Dodge W200 M880 military pickup. Before the jokes start pouring in, just know that it was a gift from a good friend. Does anyone have this same vehicle or have any experience with one? Better yet direct me to a website like this one that discusses those rigs.

Is this similar to the original Power Wagon that they stopped making in the 1960's? W200 was the Mopar the designation for a "3/4 Ton" 4x4. M880 is new to me. Does it look like a civilian 1977 Dodge? Details and/or a picture please.
Here is a great Mopar site for you.

Jim,the m880 was the 77 dodge. when I was in the army in the late 80's/early 90's my unit still had a few of them, they were being phased out. good thing to,they were way underpowered when they were in contact truck form. not sure if it was the 360,most likely the engine was the 318,but with all the tools and box on the back,it felt like the engine was a 4 cylinder. the GM version with the diesel was much better in the power dept, believe it or not.

The M880 was rated as a 5/4 ton truck(1.25 ton) and the 360 was the engine.
