2009 Dodge Ram priced from $22,170
The dealings will start at $22,170 for base models with the regular cab, $26,225 for Quad Cab models and $32,530 for Dodge's first-ever Crew 1500 models. Opting for a top-end Laramie Ram Crew 1500 4x4 will cost you $44,140, which is on par with other top-of-the-line competitors from Ford and GM. Engine options include a revised 390-horse 5.7-liter HEMI, which will allow the quickest Ram to make it to 60 mph in less than six seconds, while a 310-horsepower 4.7-liter V8 and an anemic 3.7-liter V6 with just 215 horses on tap brings up the rear.

Yes it is. But has Dodge been told about the fact that gas is $4/gal & the masses are looking for gas mileage rigs? I can tell you from experience that the 2002 4.7 V-8 didn't get very good mileage 13-16 in a dakota. It only had 225 HP imagine what great mileage a 300+ HP 4.7 V-8 in a full size truck will do.

The latest Dodge Ram sales promotion (at least here in SoCal) is:
All 2008 Rams can be bought at half the MSRP price.
There's absolutely no way the 2009's will be sold at MSRP.
Over 100,000 2008 Rams are choking dealer lots, so look for BIG discounts on the 2009's when they hit the sales floor.

Im not planning on buying one. Although the numbers are very attractive, I myself cant seem to get past some of the poor trucks that dodge has produced in the past.
I can pick holes in lots of ford cars, but when it comes to trucks, they do what i need them to do, and I have had them long enough to kinda be attatched (loyal) to the ford truck line. I also realize they have their bads though, dont get me wrong there!

When my Ford was in the shop getting a new engine, I was driving a beat up Dodge.
I'd have to see them in person, but from the internet I'd have no problem buying the 09 Dodge if the price was right.

Edit: It would be awesome if you could get the 4.10s with the 5.7. Anyone know anything about that?
