mpg with gt40 heads, BBK / basani exhaust
all, fyi, just got back from my Columbus to Indianapolis trip and have some mpg # for my new set-up.
50/50 mix of city / highway driving 14.5 mpg (was about 11-12 mpg before the mods).
Leg from Columbus to Indianpolis, 16.3 mpg (some headwind most of the way) Leg from Indianapolis to Columbus 17.4 mpg. This was running 70-75 mph with the AC on. Blower is still off. so the above #'s are all normally aspirated. 17.4 is the best I've ever done. I figure if it was winter and no AC, i might get closer to 18.
Blower will be back on in the next week or so...then I'll post the "with blower" #'s.
