Tattoos
I want to know everyones thoughts on tattoos. I had a guy come up to me at Wal-mart tonight and tell me I was going to hell for having tattoos. I was as nice as I could be but after hearing him say the devil had me in his fingers 15 times,I had enough and went off on him. Let me know Good, Bad or Indifferent. Are tattoos really that bad?

I don't understand why someone would want to get a tatoo but as long as they aren't my kid, I don't really care. The strange thing about tatoos today are that they are so large and in color. The other strange thing about today, is that beautiful women are getting tatooed. Seeing a tatoo on a beautiful woman is even more sickening than seeing a beautiful woman smoking. What's the deal with the chinese lettering? Do people really know what words they are affixing to their skin?

I like tattoos Mike has one of Taz holding an American Flag and he has his friends name under it and it happens to be the same name as his, he lost his friend in the gulf war, and I want to get 1 or 2 but with me being very thin I can't lol I don't have any meat on these bones of mine lol. I think that when some people get some that it is fine just don't go over board on getting them a friend of mine her brother is loaded with them and that looks tacky as heck. The ones I want are small in size nothing big.

To me a tatoo is your personal business. But when you put them all over your arms and legs for the public to see, you make your business my business. I'm not really interested in a stranger's personal business. Which is why a lot of people feel uncomfortable around tattoo people. It's like catching somebody getting dressed and you want to look away.

I disagree horsepuller with the statement about tattoos beeing where you can see them makes them your business. Just because somebody has them doesn't mean you have to look at them. I have two, just got my second one Friday on my leg. Your trying to say if I want to spend my money on a tattoo that is visible that it is as much your business than it is mine. That is absurd. If someone painted their truck a good awful color that you can't stand, is that your business too.
