Compression test 53 flathead 8

Anyone know what the compression shoul be on a 53 eab/8ba. I going to do a compression test on one hopefully Friday and if things look good probably buy this engine. its running and dont know if it's ever been rebuilt or not. I posted something on a follow up over on the 48-60 section as well. Thanks Josh

it should be somewhere around 7:1 but as long as its fairly even across all cylinders i wouldnt worry to much
