Backup Beeper!

Howdy Folks,

Just poppin in here to ask you all how does a person turn up the volume on the backup sensor beeper??

I don't think there is a way to turn it up or down, just on or off with the dash switch.

It sounds like (no pun intended) that like me, you often have trouble hearing it. I haven't found a way to increase the volume, but I wondered if I could install an additional 'beeper-speaker' in the front of the cab. Nothing too obnoxious, just something that would allow me to hear the darn thing over the radio and kids.

Coming from someone that does NOT have a back up sensor...if I can hear the BANG...I know I'm there...

Yea, my hearing isnt that great, so I guess I'll have to go the backup, backup beeper route!

stated earlier just tap into the spaeker and run it up the side if the interior to the front.

That *&%^*%^ beeper system cost me $2400 last week. It never chirped a bit until i hit the bumper.

That is exactly why some of us have added the backup cameras. At approx $90, and an hour of wiring, we have removed the unknown from behind us.

I just leave the trailer hitch on and if I hit somehing while backing up,it doesn't hurt my bumper.. The problem is that the durn thing beeps all the time..Had a lady rear end me the other day and when she tried to back off from me,it pulled the WHOLE nose and grill off of her little car.Everything from the hood forward was still hooked to my hitch.
