Aren't the superduty's a lot heavier truck? That would take away from the gas mileage a little.

I've never had a ford split bench, and woudlnt' trade my full bench for the world.
my 91 and my 95 have both had XLT seats, and they are wonderous!!!!!!!!

I get 3corner butt no matter what i sit in, but my flareside has such stiff seats its not cumfy.

I always sit on one cheek after about an hour, and then switch to the other, but it really depends on how tired i am, and how hard i worked.
Butt is usually a bit sore after shearing all day.

My 94 burns about half as much fuel as my 02.
The 02 has way more power though.
The 94 is a standard and the 02 is a automatic.
Both 4x4 F-350's.

Ask that question in the NBS forums and you will get a whole different set of answers.
As you can see the general consensus in this forum leans towards the OBS trucks....hmmm? wonder why?
BTW: I give one more vote for the OBS trucks but you gotta love the extra HP the NBS trucks have right out of the gate.

Yes they are a tad heavier, but I don't think it affects fuel mileage much if at all. Most guys in the NBS forum report about the same MPG's as the guys here in the OBS forum.

Ya, overall it's pretty much just the visual and comfort that's different.
Small power difference, but if you're really worried about power, spend $500 more and an OBS has more power than a stock NBS.
I love the looks of my OBS, and it's less common than the NBS.
I do however wish i had a SA up front.

Mine gets about 18 MPG. I have a 2003 reg cab 73. Its pretty awesome. The interior room is really great. An the towing mirrors an cutaway in the widow makes for some excellent rear vision.I had a 96 it was nice too. But these superduties are awesome trucks. Just drive one for a day. Youll love it.

Stop your making me blush just kidding LOL

I am amazed how the body on this truck has held up with all the salt used on the roads here I use a rust proofing product called rust check as you can see seems to work very well thank you for the complement.

A fella at work just bought a brand new powerstroke dually and I love it to bad I don't have $60 grand to spend on one lol thats almost a mortgage payment,Four more months and some school time though will change that though we will see then but till now I love my truck best truck I ever owned and I have owned a lot of trucks over the years .

thanks again for the complement

the sd mirrors are better by far, but thats all they have going for them. i like the room and seats in the obs trucks, i like the dash layout in the obs better, i LOVE my vent windows, and contrary to most; i prefer the independant front ends.
