cgl is starting off with a positive reputation.
Yeah... Until recently, you could have ordered a dually with a short bed. They are rare but I've seen them.

I just don't see the point of a shortbed dually. I've got an SRW shorty and love it. But if I'm buying a dually, it's going to be a longbed - with shorty's you have to be more careful with a fiver/GN setup to avoid crinkling your cab. Plus the just look funny...

I kick myself for buying a short bed except when I pull into my garage- I don't think a long bed would fit. The shorty dually does look weird for sure.

If you have to park or maneuver in the city, you will appreciate the difference in short bed vs. long bed.

That is why I bought a SC SB to put it in the garage. It has been in the garage overnight about six times in six years. What was I thinking.

The one good thing about a SB.

My 99 is still a pig b/c of the 4x4, but a longbed would be worse.... although long ago I once parallel parked a 24' delivery truck though, so I manage.

I have seen a handful of SB duallys around here and its just very odd looking to see a dually that is all fender it kinda looks dodgish.

I do have to say though a CC LB truck is impossible to park close to wally world. When I had my SC SB truck it was so nice in tight parking and tight areas on the farm this CC SB is about a pig sometimes but that extra space is NICE

Bah, I'd give my left nut to have a long box again... I've never been a fan of shortys. At least it fits in the garage (I have to keep telling myself that).
