Question No Power at Start-up

I have an 04' 6.0 with 140,000 miles, 4" mbrp turbo back with cat delete, Hypertech power programmer, and volant ram air. I have been having issues for a while now and have just been putting them off. I would like to know what is the cause. When I crank my truck in the morning it will not move. I have to let it completely warm up before you can drive it. After warm it runs like new. If the engine is not warm, you can rev motor with ok, but when you put it in gear you have no power and barely moves with missing. Any help out there?

I would say injectors also. That is what the Hot Shot secret oil additive is suppose to help with. Do a search in this forum for Hot Shot and decide for your self.

A full rack of injectors solved it for me as well.I tried hotshots but it didn't help.

Because they are actually work, but not how they supposed to. Check out the 6.0L Bible, you'll find how the injectors are working.

When I've had the same problem, I had to plug in my block heater to make sure, I don't have to wait 20 minutes before I can take off with my truck, and I live in south florida. Didn't throw any code, but friend of mine told me that if the ticking noise when you turn the ignition on isn't fast enough - like 1/10th of a second, that means, you have injector problem. He was right, after I replaced them, the ticking is way faster, and I can turn the engine on, and I could take off right away. But I still like to warm my girl up.

Well, I brout the truck in Thursday to get the 06e17 pcm recall performed. I beleive this has the inductive heating in it. Cranked it up Friday morning and it was a champ. I would say it was like starting a different truck. Power right from cold, about time. Now I'll just have to wait for the programmer to be reprogrammed to have my 9,000 lb. sportscar back.
