Time for new exhaust....

So it is time for a new exhaust-system. I need some help to find the right one. And also where to buy it.
The truck has a KN-filter, and the soup bowl is gone. I am also going to do the air intake mod. I am not going to install a turbo.
So come on help me pick the right one!

PLC7.3 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
91 F250 right..... If the crossover Y pipe is still good, an increase to a larger size ie 3.5 inch exhaust pipes/muffler would be nice, it will increase the flow. Walker mufflers/pipes is what the shop prefers...... also the systems that clamp together are easier for the shadetree mechanic. If noise abatement is a must over there, there are some free flow mufflers that are not too noisy.

Check out LMCtruck, Rock auto, ford online dealers for stock. Shipping can be lessened by smaller pieces rather than the one piece OEM tailpipe.

RockAuto does carry the exhaust parts you are looking for. Check it out Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto. If you have any questions on the parts, or shipping costs you can contact us directly: service@rockauto.com or 866-ROCKAUTO

Thanks
Ashley

I recommend Hooker Maximum Flows for mufflers. I have them on both my truck and my car and I love em

Thanks for your answers. In meantime I found something myself;
A 4" Dynomax system at Summitracing for 331$. It is 3" inlet to the Y-pipe,
4" from the Y-pipe and a stainless steel 5" tip. How does this sound?
(I have good experiance with Summit and how they have been sending my parts)

Sorry, stupid of me to ask how this sound, when I mean if this is a system I will be satisfied with for a reasonable price.

The system is technically branded as Walker but they definitely have one for the n/a IDI. It's on rockauto.com too.

I find this Dynomax system when I search Summits website.
Ford-F250-1991-7,3 : and this is what shows up under category exhaust.
But is it to big? Can it be that I will loose some power at low rpm?

Ola, a diesel ain't like a gasser, you don't loose torque from too big of an exhaust. I'd go with dual 2.5" (vs. single 2.5" y-collector and big piping behind it) in a heartbeat if my damn gas tank wasn't in the way of the driver-side exhaust...
