Drop in fuel milage????

I am almost positive (I dont want to be) but it seems that my truck's milage has went on vacation.
I think the saudies have something to do with it. If not, what else could it be. Recently gutted cat. but no other mods. No smoke. seems to run fine.
Went from about 19-20 on highway to 13-15.

How heavy is your right foot? that's the biggest factor. if you've been romping on it b/c of the new mod, it's going to drop.
smooth acceleration and light cruising will produce better mileage.
Also keep in mind that gutted cat will give you a little more boost under all circumstances, so it'll put more fuel in if you let it

Just thinking.... could the EBPV cause a drop in mileage?
I have read post's about them but never bothered to look at mine.
could it be partially closed? How could you tell? and if it is How do you open it. And should I disconnect it?

It could if it were partially closed.
I just went through this, and yes, it dropped my mileage by 2 mpg but i think it was barely closing.
It would make a wierd sound, kinda like it's on but at the same time your turbo spools...
It doesnt hurt to unplug it either way. let me find a pic. it's a plastic connector below the intake side of the turbo.

LOL thanks Dan... After the mod That extra whisle from the turbo was sounding pretty good. But I have been easy on it. I usaully go about 10mph slower than the speed limit with easy excelleration.
