I was shopping around for some decal kits to restore my Pace truck.....and I googled....and got this thread....it is a small world! My bother Olley filmed this ten years ago as we were kids and having fun.....Now 30 yrs old laughing.....anyways this truck is bad to the bone....in the process of restoring it to factory style and appearance. Thanks!
Hey, just found your forum....I just purchased a 79 Official Truck last week.
It is a F150 Ranger (package line) 460, Auto, P/S, A/C. Roll Bar, Front Brush Guard.
I also have a 79 Mustang Pace Car (festival decal version) that I purchased in Sept 1979
I am just starting to gather info on this truck, as I have always wanted one to match my Mustang. The truck needs a complete restore, but at least it's all there and very minor rust issues. We are located in southern Indiana, next to Louisville KY. If anyone has any infomation not posted (ie. production numbers, options) please feel free to call me at 812-951-2210 or e-mail: csamuels@prestigeabr.com

Was this the pace truck that sold on ebay last week? If so, congrats on a great deal for a pace truck that was complete and basically original.
Yes.....
I had been looking for one on & off for several years. I bid on the one out of MN on ebay a month or so, but this one appears in better shape. I feel it was a better buy. (glad I didn't win the other one) Right now I just plan on making it a daily driver for our body shop. (to many other projects)
