Considering that the price of a gallon of regular gas is fast approaching 5 bucks a gallon, I doubt you'll see values rising on
any old truck (unless it's minty), regardless of the year.
Escalating gas prices are gonna hurt the old car hobby across the board, for car and truck nuts alike.
Out here, the sales of new trucks have hit rock bottom, for used trucks, it's worse.

auction reports show that 2006 gasser 1/2 to 1 ton trucks, regardless of the make are currently selling for between 8-12 thousand bucks, off nearly 40% in two years.
