It costs me around $230, to fill my '02 F-250. I have had it three weeks and run over $400 through it!

totin_tools is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
My truck is parked also. I drove my truck across country pulling my trailer and getting 9 or 10 mpg, cost me better then $2500. I do blame Bush for the price of oil. Even if you started drilling all over the place it would be several years before the prices would start to change. There needs to be more refineries built, and instead of letting the oil from Alaska go to Japan, India, and China, keep it here. Plain and simple the cost of everything is up, because why BECAUSE WE KEEP SELLING OUT TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES. Where did the money for your stimulus check come from? China. We as the USA borrowed money and then distributed it out and then it goes back over there, because all the stuff you buy is made there. Until the middle income class becomes more powerful then the wealthy there wont be any change. It doesnt matter Republican or Democrat or Independent, until the government is more resposible to the people it serves aint nothing gonna change. Then today I sit here on unemployment and I see your beloved President Bush say the economy is going good, there just isnt as much growth as we would like, and the banks are not doing bad they are doing Great. Come on, I need some of these glasses that he wears. Flame on.

Well all I know is it said Direct Injection, Turbo Diesel on the fuel filter cover and it was a 7.3L 5spd that had plenty of power in it. For the power stroke part of no clue as how to tell if it was or not. I do know the earlier models in 94 were not turbo but that's all I know.

How big is the gas tank? Here Diesel is about 4.65 a gallon in one spot and about 4.88 in others.

I have parked mine for the the last few weeks a tank of fuel tends to last me a few weeks the last time I filled up it was a 116 dollars and that was at 4.45 a gallon. I drive it on the weekends when i need to work and I drive my ranger to work every day and carpool. It sounds like you had a PSD engine in your truck I knew in 93 they had a turbo model 7.3 but it was not a PSD.

Power stroke came out in 94.5 and were only with manual trannies. Direct Injection is a stroker.

Most SRW trucks in the OBS that i have seen have 3.53 gears. that accounts for a lot in MPGs.

That will never happen when the 10 percent population that makes up the wealthy control over 90% of the wealth. This divide is getting bigger too, not smaller. The middle class is effectively disappearing, where some go to the wealthy side, but more go to the poverty side of the equation.
