Wires through firewall

What is the best location to run wires through the firewall?

There are 4 wires that Ford put through the fire wall, At least on my 01 superduty, look under the hood by the brake master cylander
If you hook on to them it makes life a lot easyer

As high as possible to keep water out also make sure to use grommets around wires to keep them from beeing cut by firewall. To seal the hole use Permatex.
