92 Explorer All AC components went out.....

I have a 92 Explorer with 180,000 miles, My AC finally went out and I took it too a ford dealership and then said that I would have to replace the Blower Motor, AC Compressor, Orfice Tube, and the Receiver Dryer. Does anyone know if there is a diagram on-line showing the AC parts in an Explorer. Or if there is any websites out there to help re-do the Air conditioner? My husband is doing the work and we don't want to get stuck in the middle of the thing and not know where to go from there. The chilton book taht we have doesn't show much.

Please help.

Thanks Stephanie

LAST EDITED ON 18-Jul-01 AT 06:28*PM (EST)[p]Stay away from the dealer unless you have bucks to burn. Go to aircondition.com bulletin board. They are pros that will answer any questions you have quickly and for free. Plus you can research many of your questions from their achieves. Tim, from Arizona Mobile Air (ackits.com) affiliated with this site can download schematics for you if needed. Converting is more mentally challenging than physical. I converted a 91 recently using their help and all is well. In hindsight, a conversion process is equal parts science, experience and just plain voodoo magic.
