Service History

If I provide the VIN, does anyone have access to running a service history on my 2001. It has 60,000 miles and I bought it last month.

Looking to see if anyone changed the coolant and trans fluid in the last few years, or if I need to take it in. Also if recalls were performed.

Thanks

Mike

What I did was just take the VIN of my recently acquired '02 Navigator to my friendly Lincoln/Mercury dealer and asked them if there were any outstanding recalls on this vehicle. They went to their computer and , came back and said the Cruise Control recall was outstanding on this vehicle and then gave me a print out of the vehicle's service history. Took less than five minutes.

Tell your dealership service advisor you want an "Oasis" report. That is the official report Ford uses. Keep in mind this will only show you work done at a Ford, or Linclon dealership not your average local garage.

Try the dealer, but if no luck I'd change all the fluids if it were mine.

oasis only shows warranty work. you'd have to find the servicing dealer and have them run a history on the vehicle for cash jobs.
