Like most F-series of our vintage, occasionally I am plagued with rust-related issues.
Driver's side rear leaf spring perch - two complete pieces and what's left will fall off if I sneeze near it.
Passenger side rear leaf spring perch - one piece still but there's about 1/4" square piece of perch left between the upper and lower portions that are remaining, so a hard stop or a pothole will make it much like the other side.
After lots of googling, I'm struggling to find replacements for some reason. I would have thought it to be easier.
None-the-less, I have a 93 2wd F350 crewcab, SRW, and it has 3" wide rear leaf springs (which I imagine to be the most important specification).
Any ideas?
I glanced in a junkyard today and didn't see anything less rusty than what I have on there now.
When you said spring perch, I thought you meant on the rear end. I got some spring hangers from NPD or LMC, I forgot which one. There is an Ebay store that has them as well. The width is really the only specification that should make a difference since there are 2.5 and 3 inch springs.

Glad I could return the favor McLeod. For a dollar or two I'd buy from an FTE sponsor, but when the cost savings is more than half... oh well
Stenglebros also has air suspension stuff for those of us interested in adding air. While I'll be using different parts than what they offer, at least I know where to get the necessary bracketry. While I can make it, it's more work than it's worth.
I'm surprised you had trouble finding them- my local Stealership had them on the shelf for my truck, and at a similar price. I know it's a different part from 2wd to 4wd, but it's still an achille's heel for our trucks.
