Help! VIN decode for '57(?) F-100

I have what I think is a '57 f-100 barn find but I'm not sure.
Here's the vin: F10K7N12532
Thanks, and is there somewhere I can find pics and descriptions of what original parts would look like? I am an accomplished Vette restorer but I have never done anything with ford or trucks.

Yes that is a 57. If you would do a search on reading vins you will find out how to read it. Glad to have another orphan aboard or fridge as they are called

Thanks for the verify! However, it currently has a very correct-looking straight six for the engine, though. Stamped "FORD" on the valve cover, stock exhaust manifolds, 2-BBL carb, etc. Is there any way to check if this is THE factory engine? (numbers on the block, heads, 3-spd trans, or anything else?)
Thanks!

If this has a correct looking I6 Engine it should only have one exhaust manifold and a one barrel carb. If in fact it is a two barrel it is a way newer engine.

Was just thinking, real dangerous huh? If your engine is an I-6 and has a two barrel and two exhaust manifolds maybe someone worked over a I-6 and put it in your truck. The vin # says it should be a V-8. Some pics might help also

Pics of the '57 F100

Here's some shots of the engine:

Yeah, I realize it has one exhaust manifold, sorry for the error.

Vin # for 57

It looks to me like your engine is a 223 CI I-6 cyl. from the pics. The carb looks like a Ford 1 barrel off a newer engine. It looks like it is fairly complete other than no air cleaner.

I have no clue for parts supply (air cleaner) and I don't know what is original on it.
I'm looking for a buyer for the truck as-is. The engine is seized and the tires are bad, brakes don't work, lots of slop in the suspension. Almost no rust, though. Emblems and trim seems nearly complete and the cab is original, as is most of the rest of the truck. Any idea what to ask for $$$?

Trucks I have seen here in Michigan with little to no rust go anywhere from $ 500.00 to $ 5000.00 depending on who has them and if they run. You seem to have a nice find. The tin looks good, maybe you should try to list it under the Classified section of this site. Someone is looking for parts.
