7.3 and ULSD, is 2010 the end of the line?

Hey guys,

I read an article on the net saying that the 7.3's will not be able to run on ULSD. Is this true? If so, 2010 looks like the end of the 7.3's...

Every time you fill up right now you are filling up with ULSD. Its been like this for the last year I think.

Here is a link to the website. Speed:Sport:Life Fresh Shots of the 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty. It was in the "responses" section that I read this. "Be very very very proud of your Powerstroke. .. On Oct 15th when you are searching for fuel to burn in it and cannot find any. Or just burn the low sulpher stuff and watch your motor blow up.. LOL… If you would head just a small little warning and do the research you would know your truck is soon to be obsolete. Correct my grammer and or punctuation all you wish. Fact is your about to wish you had bought a durocrap.. it runs on both ultra low and low sulpher content. Was designed to since 03 LLY engine came out. Still has more horespower and torque then the ford. Still drags the ford around the block while its in park.. You quite opinionated for an uninformed fellow… Best of luck to you as I know there is nothing I can do to change your mind."

There are several grammar errors I could correct for you, but I will not. Simply because I'm going to ask you a question you're not going to like. Are you on drugs, or crazy?

If I missed something, I sure apologize. I am having another hectic day elsewhere on FTE. Don't know how I got into this mess, but I sure did. If you got that off of a Duramax site, it was written by a 7.3 wannabe owner.

It's quite obvious that the original poster is either:

A) A moron.

or

B) On drugs.

I vote option "A". Doug Gibson doesn't know what he's talking about and he failed English class in high school.

ULSD has been on the market for a couple of years now and our trucks run just fine on it.
