broken spark plugs

Is the hex broken off of them too? If so, you're gonna have to get an easy out in the hole and work at it. You'll need to heat them up red a few times and let em cool off. Then heat it once more and try to get it loose. If you break the easy out, start the engine up and use the torch to burn it out. The running engine blows the slag out of the hole. I know it sounds pretty savage but the only other option is pulling the head to do it the right way.

I had it happen with one of mine. The hex and porcelin both came out, leaving the threads in the head. I soaked it several times with blaster, then hammered an easy-out in it and backed it out with a 3/8 drive spark plug socket. The square drive fit the easy-out perfectly and I used a wrech on the hex part of the socket to turn it. Hope it helps.
