2000 F350 in the future...

I am selling my old 86' 250 diesel for a newer more efficient diesel. I found a 2000 F350 Crew Cab, 8' box, Dually, 4x4, real nice truck, its got 130k on the truck and is a 7.3 w/ 6 speed transmission. The guy wants 13,000$ for the truck which isnt too bad for only having 130K. I havent gone to look at it yet , but he describes it as it is in good condition. To put it to you straight at 17 years old this truck is like my dream truck and I have the oppertunity to own it. But to the point I would like to know what the best computer programmer to buy for this truck. I like the Edge Evolution programmer for this truck, but what are your thoughts?

By the way I am selling my 86' F250 if any one is interested let me know, Its a 6.9 with a 4 speed, regular cab, 8 foot bed, dual 6 inch chrome stacks no muffler, aftermarket turbo, new injectors and glow plugs, 1 year old paint and undercoat, new american racing rims w/ 33x12.50 AT tires, all new shocks and brakes all around, new clutch this year. The truck runs good, its not perfect, it was my first paint job so there are imperfections, but nothing too bad, its pretty much rust free, and drives smooth. cant ask for much else on an old truck like this. I have a gallery in the galleries section it is under KyleG.

Once you get the truck, come back here and we will help you spend your money. The first thing to do is make sure the truck is up to speed before you start with the mods. After you look at the truck and drive it, if you have any questions, come back and ask.

Gezz now is the time to buy a 7.3, and even a 5.9, that's for sure. Trucks are so cheap now it's hard to believe. I've been seeing 7.3's on the local craigslist at 7 or 8 grand. It's insane!

DP TUNER or Tony Wildman's tunes are by far the best ones for the 7.3L! You'll find an overwhelming response for DP Tuner here.....for good reason, they are AWESOME! Good luck on the purchase! I wish I had a truck like this at 17!

Noticed that too, I helped a buddy with a 7.3 purchase recently and could not believe how many are for sale here in Denver.

I know there's a lot of folks that must've hated parting with a fine truck, but the damn price of diesel is hurting everyone.....

Well since no one has said Id go with DP-tuner

Diesel is getting bad but right now its still cheaper to drive than a 5.4 or V-10
since the milage is better. the price of diesel would have to shoot up alot more before I sell mine.
