DP or TS

I have noticed a lot of you guys run DP tuners, I have 2 buds with identical trucks but 1 runs a DP, the other runs a TS, they both love their chips and neither seems to be better than the other. Is it more a preference thing or is there something that makes one better than the other.

OH and by the way someone hold this can of worms I just opened.

One thing I like about the DP is the F5 switch, rather than a 6 position knob. The F5 goes to sixteen if you have that many tunes.

I don't think you can go wrong with either product. they both have great tunes, great customer service, and I know of at least one guy here that has had both and he says they are extremely similar. We certainly have a huge DP following here. I am certainly happy with mine. Jody and Diane are great people to deal with.

DP Tuner hands down, Jody got his start at TS and then went out on his own making better tunes. There has been a couple of members that have tried both and they all tend to go with the DP-Tuner, the only other tuner out there that is really Jody's equal is Tony Wildman which offers a great chip as well but doesn't offer an F5 swtich like Jody.

I had a TS in my 97, I could feel more power in the butt-o-meter from a superchips tuner. Here is a thread I posted about the same thing awhile back. http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/59...-dp-tuner.html When I can afford to buy a chip, it WILL be DP-Tuner.

Damn man, you better say thank you to Brandi for letting you get that many, and thank you(again) to me for letting her ride in my truck.

Oh how I know Jason hehe, it is nice having so many tunes to play with though it gets a little confusing sometimes.

A lot of people like TS chips, and they are good products.

However, another guy here in Denver compared his truck running a TS chip to my truck running DP-Tuner. At the drag strip, I beat him every time. That was back before I was running big oil. He had almost the same mods as my truck, except his was stock height and stock tires. My heavy 8' tall brick still made it down the track faster.

Oh, and he switched to DP-Tuner shortly after that.
