Hot Shot Secrets additive

I just got mine in today and I put the whole 64oz. bottle in my 6.0L oil system and started up the truck and instantly I notice the smell of the exhaust is different and not as strong than it use to be and the motor is idling smoother right off the bat, I hav'nt drove it yet, I guess this stuff really works or is it just me getting excited about the new stuff, so far I think it is money well spent. How about you guys out there? Have any of you tried it yet and see any positive results?

Mine bottle is still sitting on the shelf. Plan on adding a 1/2 dose at 20,000 miles.

Time for a stupid question...drum roll please...

Is this an quart for quart replacement deal with an oil change? I searched it and it was a little murky.

yes it is. full 64oz if you have injector problems. 32oz if you are just trying to clean things out like injectors, turbo, etc.

Cold starts are pretty hard and it seems to be real loud. Mostly it is the fact that I have 176,000 miles and was hopeing to clean up the injectors a bit and make them last to 200k.

If you haven't had it done yet, the Inductive Heating Flash is very effective for preventing stiction. Once you have some stiction issues, the Hot Shots is good to try (lots of good reports), but I think the Flash is still a MUST-DO.

Yea I know the flash is a must do because I had it done almost a year ago right after I got the truck and had to pay $100 for it since I am way out of warranty. Before the flash my truck would barely run when it was cold, after the flash you almost couldn't tell if there were any cold starting issues, but it seems like it is starting to come back. I am going to change over to synthetic 5w-40 instead of the synthetic 15w-40 I am running now when I need a oil change in the next month

I tried www. lubricationspecialties.com and got nowhere. Is there another URL or another source?
