Heck the orange soft plastic ball cover for my trailer hitch will trip the reverse sensors if I don't get it all the way on the ball.

With that hitch rack back there that's when I would need the sensors the most....especially if my wife was driving.

I'm planning a trip from Dallas,TX. to Port Huron, MI. this fall and will be driving my '07 Expy EL. It's a 2WD, and I won't be towing anything.

I've done some shorter trips with it in the past, 1/2 tankers each way, and have seen 18-19 mpg avg. I've heard of people getting 20-21 on longer trips and was hoping for something in that range.

At any rate, I will post the results of the trip this fall some time in November.

I can average on long trips at 70mph with light winds and small hills...around 19 to 20mpg. My wife who is the main driver of our SUV is getting much better and now watches the gauge on the ave economy in the message window.....and has gotten 24mpg at 65mph.....but she is now taking off slower off the line and braking much easier too.....

And I am glad she is....because the fuel bill this month is very ugly!

Yeah ...I read it....but I don't seem to have the tranny problem that some have....only once it did something strange...but never since.
