Wow...Icon 4.5" is in!!! (Pics)

this is my first 4x4 truck. had a couple 2wd Dodges back in the day. I looked at pictures upon pictures of lifted trucks and with what I use the truck for (daily, towing race car), figured the 4.5" was the one for me. I had a 2" leveling kit in it and figured it wouldnt be much more but HOLY COW. online pics CANNOT show you how high the truck actually is!! my truck is HUUUUGE. I LOVE it it just kind of surprsied me how big it actually was. I also opted for a 1" bigger block out back for a slight rake and to keep the truck level when towing. Going to grab the AMP steps before the wheel/tires because those will bring it up another inch or so and the floor of the truck is up to my gf's stomach...LOL

2.5" blocks installed and leveling kit up front

front install took me 2 days. total hours working was about 9 on the whole setup with 2 trips to the store.

all done

Jake,

Looks great, looking forward to seeing it on the 22s. One comment, take a hammer at tap your rear u-bolts in until they very nearly touch the spring pad, and then re-torque them. This will pretent them from loosening over time.

yeap...all by myself. took 2 days...about 4 hours for the back one day and 6 for the front. had to make 2 trips to the store as I needed a couple bolts and tools I didnt have.

no hang ups at all...install went nice and smooth. everything bolted right in and except for the small case of the wobbles, it rides EXCELLENT.

Truck lookin good.

I forget how large my truck actually is at times. I am so used to seeing it and driving it now, that I forget. That is until I park next to another truck. Like my mom's 2003 Chevy 1500HD or this guy at works 2001 Dodge 2500 2WD. It makes those trucks look like S-10's and Dakota's. I love it.
